Manual glass-edge grinding with a sintered diamond disc
The G070003 sintered diamond disc is intended for manual glass-edge grinding and corner chamfering where a handheld tool provides better access than a fixed edging machine. The 80 and 100 mm references use a 16 mm mounting bore and are offered in 120 and 150 grit for different removal and finish requirements.
A stable result depends on more than the abrasive disc. Confirm the grinder speed, wheel marking, flange support, guard and mounting accuracy, then secure the glass before starting. Use light, even pressure and avoid side impact or forcing the disc into the glass edge.
Select the grit from the starting edge condition and required chamfer finish. Inspect the disc and glass frequently during work, and replace any disc showing cracks, deformation, mounting damage or abnormal vibration.
