Product details
What this product is used for
UVA curing of compatible UV glass adhesives, shadowless adhesives, photosensitive glues and UV-curing resins used in glass bonding and related assembly work.
Matching UVA output to the adhesive curing process
The UVA-40W lamp is designed as a compact curing source for compatible UV glass adhesives, shadowless glues, photosensitive adhesives and UV-curing resins. Two 20W UVA tubes provide a stated 365–420 nm wavelength range, while the reflective inner surface helps direct useful UVA energy toward the bonding area.
Curing time is not determined by lamp power alone. Confirm the adhesive photoinitiator range, glass transmission, bond-line thickness, working distance, exposure angle and required irradiance at the joint. Establish the production cycle through controlled curing and bond-strength checks.
Use suitable UVA shielding and eye and skin protection during setup and operation. Monitor tube output over time because curing performance may decline before a tube visibly fails.
