Profile and dimension checks
A wheel that matches the diameter but not the profile radius or mounting dimensions is not a safe replacement.
- Target edge profile, radius and tolerance
- Glass thickness and glass type
- OD, bore, working layer and machine clearance
- Current wheel photos, side profile and drawing if available
Custom grinding wheel review
Custom profile inquiries are evaluated from enough reference information to reproduce the working geometry.
- Provide a marked drawing or a complete sample
- Confirm the machine brand, model and wheel position
- Separate profile geometry from grit and bond selection
- Review a sample before moving to repeat production
