Como escolher a configuração correta
Build the wheel sequence
Glass edging is a process chain. The wheel at one position affects the load and surface condition of the next position.
- Diamond wheels for rough grinding and edge shaping
- Resin wheels for fine grinding and mark reduction
- Polishing wheels for clarity and final surface finish
- Low-E removal wheels for the separate coating-deletion step
Match the wheel to the machine
The correct wheel depends on the equipment layout, not just the product family name.
- Straight-line edging machines for flat and chamfered edges
- Double edging machines for parallel edge production
- Beveling machines for sloped glass edges
- Shape edging and CNC machines for profile work
Solve the actual edge problem
Chipping, grinding marks, burns and low clarity can have multiple causes. Review the wheel sequence and machine condition together.
- Confirm OD, bore, working layer, grit and wheel position
- Check glass thickness, removal amount, coolant and feed
- Review adjacent wheels before changing only one position
- Send current wheel and finished-edge photos for comparison
